Our Hand-Painting Design Process

Step 1: Our design team votes on a new design.

Step 2: We practice on a paper plate.

Step 3: We try to make improvements and ensure that the design is a real winner.

Step 4: We’ll start to paint on the real plate.

Step 5: We insure that there are three coats and sand everything down to ensure that everything is smooth and even.

Step 6: We take the plates out to get them glazed & fired.

Step 1: Our design team selects iconic Chicago sites to photograph.

Step 2: Our design team heads out to take some great photographs.

Step 3: Our graphic artists pick the best photos and work with various softwares to give them a unique look.

Step 4: Then design team then decides how to arrange their designs onto our various products.

Step 5: Our heat press team sets up the equipment and places the design onto the products.
